Our store has been nicknamed ‘The City’ by our customers and is often referred to as the 'Cheers for Women!'  They often stop by at lunch or after work just to hang out and see what’s new. We wouldn’t have it any other way! Whether it’s shopping, cropping, classes or just browsing for inspiration, the City has become a regular hangout for many of our customers.

With our front porch seating perfect for watching the world go by, and our fully stocked kitchen ready to help with those late night croppin’ snack attacks, you can bring your friends or make a new friend. So, come make yourself at home in our home. Stop by and see for yourself, and we’re sure that soon you too will want to come...

Some FAQ's

What does a ‘basic tool kit’ include?

A basic tool kit for our classes includes: black or brown ink pad, paper trimmer, scissors, journaling pen, and adhesives of choice including a tape runner and glue dots. 

Can I come & scrap anytime?

You are welcome anytime between 10 am & 6 pm. Kindly call beforehand to make sure we have a space cleared for you from our own crafting messes! and to confirm availability.   A $5 crop fee allows access to our expansive work room.

Can I use your Cricut Machine?

Our new Cricut policy is effective on 10/1/11.  The Cricut die cutting machine is part of our work room and its use is included in the crop fee along with our cartridges.  Mats are no longer provided though.  You will need to supply your own mat for cutting.  As a convenience, you may rent a mat at the front desk for $2 a day or purchase one from the store for $8.  Here is our current list of Cricut Cartridges available for use in our work room:

Can my group come & use your classroom space?

Yes, we would love to host your group. Please call and make reservations & understand that our classes have priority in the space.  Standing group reservations are also welcome!  $5 per person allows access to our crop space and work room for the day during regular store hours.

Do I need to reserve my spot for classes or crops?

Yes, we have limited seating available for all classes and crops. Your reservation can be made by phone, email or also by booking on the website.  Seats are reserved on a first come, first serve basis and are only reserved when paid for in advance.  Class seating is limited to 14 per class for optimal guest comfort & class instructions.  Crop seating is booked in the main classroom at 14, the side work room at 6, and the 3rd floor (Penthouse) at 10.

Do you host birthday parties?

Yes, we love to have birthday parties for children & adults! Children’s parties begin at age 6 & up and start at $12 per child. This includes a 6x6 scrapbook and pages for each child with embellishments, adhesive and personal instruction. Balloons & a picture CD are also included. Adult parties are tailored to suit your needs and can range from a ‘free-style’ crop party to a designed project to fit your budget. Add-ons can include custom invitations, paper products, pizza, drinks and cupcakes.

Do you offer childcare during classes?

While we love children, this is your special time. Please remember that this is ‘mommy time’ for a lot of our guests. We understand that circumstances at times are unavoidable, however we cannot be held responsible. In the future, we hope to offer more options for you and your children.

How does your Design Team work?

Our Design Team rotates every 6 months to a new group of customers just like you. Watch every January and every July for our Design Team Call...when we ask our customers to submit entries to try out! See the ‘design team’ page on the website for more details...

What does my crop fee include?

Crop fees are $20 for Saturdays 11am-11pm and  $15 for Fridays 3pm-11pm. Prepayment may be made to receive a $5 discount.  All croppers have access to use of tools in work room which include Cricut, Cuttlebug, sewing machine, stamps, inks, tools, etc.  Drinks, snacks and a meal are provided (& chocolates of course!)  Please see each individual crop description for the menu.  Brown bag option is also available for only $5 but does not include drinks, snacks or meals.  Please inform us at booking which you prefer.  *NEW* Cricut policy beginning 10/1/11.

What is your cancellation policy?

We must be given 48 hours notice if you are unable to attend the class so that we may give others on the waiting list the opportunity to take the class. Because the class kits are pre-cut in advance, if the cancellation is made on time you will receive a store credit in the amount of the class. Otherwise, we will hold the kit for you to pickup at your convenience.  You are welcome to 'makeup' missed classes in our work space during regular store hours.  Please note that many of our classes are taught by guest teachers & designers, so one-on-one training will not be available except for during the scheduled class time.
