2 New Lines Arrived Today

Scrappin In the City - Tuesday, November 29, 2011

The new lilybeedesign line, Jingle arrived at the store today.  There are 9 double sided papers, a sticker sheet with different colored alphas, a 6x6 pad, and several must have embellishments. This line is not only great for Christmas but for the snowy days that are quickly approaching.

New today also is the We R Memory Keepers Love Struck Line.  The line has 12 double sided papers, brads to die for, those cheap little stamps that we all love, card kits, and many more versatile embellishments. I know Valentine's Day seems so far out but we all know how time flies by (almost as fast as new lines at the CITY) so come by a grab them before they are gone...

See you soon...Hopefully at the Open House Saturday

Time to crop....

Scrappin In the City - Wednesday, November 16, 2011

What a gross, rainy day outside…puts me in the  mood to scrap!

If you haven't found the time to crop, book a spot in one of our crops or classes.  We have a great elegant card class this Friday, the 18th at 6:00, for you to get some beautiful Christmas cards made.  Or spend all day with us this Saturday, the 19th,  for our “Blessings Crop” and get lots of those holiday projects finished early!  I plan to sit myself in one of those stools all day and scrap, scrap, scrap! I hope you’ll join me!  Check out the classes tab on the website for lots of new classes and crops scheduled, then call to reserve your spot (or just book it online!)

Sara has lots of fun holiday plans in the works including a super cool Open House, so be checking your emails and the blog for fun events and specials!

Happy crafting,

Trish

Classes & Crops & More

Scrappin In the City - Monday, November 14, 2011

Make sure to check out our Holiday calendar and celebrate with the City Chicks.  We're busy planning a fun season ahead...full of classes, cropping, techniques and more!!  I'm finalizing the details of our City Chicks Open House for Dec. 3 full of make-n-takes and mini-classes and I'm also finishing up plans for our first ever Hubby Night.  Be thinking what you want to add to your Wish List at the City.  Will it be the new Tim Holtz Distress Inks?  the new Silhouette Cameo??  a Retreat with the City Chicks for 2012?  Whatever it may be... we'll help you get it for Christmas :)

We're also busy adding classes throughout the holidays for your gift-giving needs.  There are some fun classes being offered and they give you a chance to step away from the holiday madness and make something with your hands.

I've even picked some fun themes for our upcoming crops (& decided on the menus!).  Make sure to schedule some time for you and your crafting hobbies during the season to help with the sanity :)  I promise we'll have a good time!

Hopefully, I can sleep a few hours now...since I've atleast started finalizing the Holiday Calendar...ahhh!
Toodles,
Sara

Scrappin In the City - Thursday, November 10, 2011

The City Chicks are gearing up for Christmas.  Today, we began putting out the decorations and even listened to Christmas music while doing so.  It was truly like Christmas morning with the mysterious We R Memory Keepers line that has been missing for weeks magically appeared. Unfortunately, we will not have it priced and on the sales floor til tomorrow.  However, if you want to go on their website under Peppermint Twist to see the papers and embellishments and call the store I can make a hold list for you today.

We hope to see many of you taking advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free ribbon sale today only.  I know it is already 3 but let's face it...that gives you 3 hours to get here, shop, and pick out your favorite pieces of the Peppermint twist line to put on hold.  So HURRY!!!

Classes, Classes, and more Classes

Scrappin In the City - Thursday, October 27, 2011

Several weeks ago we received a Canvas Corp Christmas line that went as quickly as it came.  Sara re ordered and it is here.  It has sassy Christmas tress and stockings with lime green and red color schemes.  We matched it with some awesome lime green ribbon, paints, mists, and other fun products so come check it out.  We now also have the “chalk stock” in 12x12 sheets.

Check out our class tab because we added 5 new classes to the list today. I promise you will find at least one class that fits your style and probably more than 1.

Make sure to check your email and Facebook tomorrow for the daily deal good tomorrow only.

Be watching your emails....

Scrappin In the City - Wednesday, October 26, 2011

What a crazy busy and super fun day I've had at the best scrapbooking store on earth!  My crafty amiga, Sara, has been even busier than I though.  She made the cutest 2012 calendar class out of giant bottle caps!  You have to go check it out under our classes tab, and after you see how adorable it is, reserve your spot(s) to make one...or two...or three as Christmas gifts.

Sara has been a creative mastermind lately!  She is teaching a recipe album class tomorrow night (Thursday, the 27th, at 6:00).    There are still spaces to sign up AND even if you can't make it to the class tomorrow, Sara has made up kits to make one which includes all of the materials you need (plus lots of extras so you can add to your album), an instruction sheet and photos.  Pick up a couple of kits and you can put them together at one of our crops or at home.  These would make great Christmas gifts!

And now for the EXCITING NEWS.....well, I can't tell you too many details, but you need to be watching your emails often in the days to come.  Sara has some fun stuff up her crafty little sleeves that you won't want to miss!  She will share all of the details with you via emails starting very soon...

Happy crafting,

Trish

Maya Road

Scrappin In the City - Tuesday, October 25, 2011

We got a great little shipment of Maya Road goodies today that you may want to grab for up coming Christmas gifts.  The kraft calendar months and season chipboard would be awesome for mini calendars for the upcoming year.  We also got 4 rolls of the flower trim ribbon that went so quickly the last time in the store.  Two were a fall green and orange and the other two were white and crimson red.   So come by and check out these great Maya Road products.

One other little note: Sara’s recipe class is Thursday night and there are class spots available as well as take home kits with instructions. These would make great Christmas gifts.

Sew Ribbon Demo & Sale!

Scrappin In the City - Friday, October 21, 2011

Stop by the city tomorrow to see a demo with the new Sew Ribbon tool and try it out yourself while you are here.  We will be giving a 10% off discount on the Sew Ribbon tool and its accessories tomorrow only.  It's that time of year to start those Christmas cards and holiday gifts.....so the classroom will be open for use tomorrow during store hours (10am-6pm) for a $5 crop fee.  Come on over to scrap here and get a head start on your projects!  The UT game is away so you won't even have to worry about that football traffic.

Hope to see you Saturday!
