Wish List ideas...Its Hubby Night

Scrappin In the City - Wednesday, December 14, 2011

Hubby Night is here!  Did you put it in your man's calendar for him? :)
Send him to the City between 4-8 for manly food and gift wrapping and the shopping expertise of the City Chicks.  Here are a few of our favorite things for your list:

Got ribbon?  Here's your best way to store it! We love these...

Hot items from Cosmo Cricket... Make your own flowers from fabric, paper & more.  These are super duper mega glue dots!

Have you tried the new Twinkling H2O Spritzers? or Daubers?  They are amazingly shimmery and no clogging!  New masks, craftable flowers and more ready to be misted.

Been wanting to try that new Sew Easy gadget or Sew Ribbon?  We have them in the store with fun twine and ribbon in stock.  These are great tools to add to your loot

Are you a Cricut guru?  or a wannabe?  These new Cricut magazines and idea books are very inspiring!  We've got the basic tools in stock and classes on the calendar for 2012!!

I'm really liking these pagemaps idea books.  They work great when your creative juices aren't flowing and you need a boost!

Calling all card makers!!!  This Martha Stewart scoring board is a must-have.  I don't make cards much but I've really enjoyed using this new gadget.  Makes it much easier!!!

Mixed Media peeps... these Donna Salazar chalk inks are new and in fun colors.  The City Chicks favorite thing in the store right now is the Fairy Dust....  Aside from the adorable salt shaker dispenser, the glitter is amazingly fine and coats so well.  3 fun colors.  (and the glue gloss is a must!)

All Stickles colors and Liquid Pearls are fully stocked and begging to be the perfect stocking stuffer.  If you've used Stickles before, you know they are addicting and can add that perfect touch to any project.  Make sure you try the Liquid Pearls... they are just as addicting and come in yummy colors!

Wanna make your own albums and projects at home?  The Cinch is one of the best tools to have in your craft room... super easy to use!!  And its pink :)

Tim Holtz Distress Stains are the new version of his ever popular ink pads.  If you like TH or anything distress, I'm sure you'll love these :)

Well, ladies... I think that's just a FEW of our favorite things.  If you haven't had a chance to make your wish list, no worries!  Just show your hubbies this blog post and send them our way.
Toodles,
Sara

We're drowning...

Scrappin In the City - Wednesday, December 07, 2011

...In NEW product that is!!!!!  While its raining buckets out there, awesome new products have been pouring in thru our doors :)

I can't possibly begin to list them all, but here's a quick stab at it!

First up...
American Crafts 'Nightfall' collection... its not just Halloween, but beautiful fall papers & more fun chalkstock :)

And yes... there's cool new THICKERS in the store.  Enough said!

New AC ribbons that are to DIE for...ahhhh
...and check out these fun new albums!

Next up is Studio Calico.  I was looking at some of my notes from Summer CHA in Chicago and I had noted that I was most impressed with their new products.  There's no way I can post all of what came in here...but let's just say I can't wait to start crafting with this stuff!!!!  Its totally inspired me again just seeing it come into the store.  New colors in Mr. Huey's mists, new awesome masks (that I'm sure you are seeing on all the blogs), fun chipboard & wood veneer shapes and the new lines:

And Crate Paper, one of our favs... a fun, homemade line

beautiful new chipboard shapes, stickers, and flowers.

Last up is Pebbles, Inc.

This was one of my favorite lines.  The papers are mixed with Kraft cores.  The patterns can be summer or fall or anything in between.  But, the embellishments are too fun!!!  Stitched, dimensional butterflies, toothpick flags, flowers, alphas, masking tape stickers, and more!

Perfect timing for those Hubby Wish Lists :)
I'll be working the sales floor tomorrow filling in for Amanda, so come in and see me ...
Paddle your boats on into the store...
