I'm in complete HEAVEN right now....

We got SO many new goodies in today from Echo Park and American Crafts!  After hours and hours (literally) of putting everything into inventory, it's finally ready for US to buy!! :)  You need to be at the store soon to snatch up all that you want because this stuff is great!  American Crafts sent us their Dots & Stripes line and their Neopolitan line that has so many cute accessories it's just plain CrAzY cute!  My favorites, of course, are the boyish lines we got from Echo Park called and Times & Seasons and This and That (we got the very pretty This & That girl line, too, for all of you girl mamas :).  As I opened each pack I kept getting layout ideas for all of these gorgeous papers!  Gotta love Echo Park with all of their awesome embellishments, too!  The best part of my day though was all of the new THICKERS I get to buy now!  You know I'm obsessed with my Thickers and now I have 15 new packs added to my collection! :)  We got the super cool DIY thickers, too, that I can't wait to try!  I'm pumped that I get to close the crop this Saturday so I can play with all of this new scrap stuff!

I almost forgot...you asked and we listened.  My stamp-and-stack that filled up so fast is now going to be offered again.  I'll will be teaching the same Wednesday night card class again Saturday, February 25th at 11:00. So if you are interested give us a call at the store or sign up online.  For a complete description of the class look under the class tab on our website.

Have a great night, and be sure to keep Lou busy tomorrow getting all of these great new scrap goodies before they're gone!

Keeping Up With Sara

Scrappin In the City - Tuesday, January 31, 2012

Our fearless leader has only one more day to take in all that CHA has to offer.  She has ask that we all follow her on facebook because the flicker account is not cooperating with her.  She has already posted several pictures and plans to take many more today.  She is wanting our feedback and comments to make sure she covers all that we "city chicks" desire. So this is our chance to tell her want we want to see in our store as well as to encourage her after 3 FULL and LONG days of walking around and looking at tons and tons of products. So I encourage to be one of those people that checks facebook 1,000 times a day so we can keep up with Sara and all the great things she is seeing in sunny California.

Happy Facebooking

3 New Echo Park Lines

Scrappin In the City - Tuesday, January 24, 2012

It has been a fun morning already here at The City.  UPS came early this morning and brought three wonderful Echo Park lines with him.

The first is, A Boy's Life.  So for all of us who have little men in our life and have a hard time finding awesome paper to scrap all their mischievous adventures....this line is for us.  This line covers it all...airplanes, cars, rock star, video games, skateboarding, and much much more.  We did get the collection kit and the 6*6 paper pad.

The second is , Holly Jolly Christmas. This line is very whimsical, young, and fun. We have several collection kits, 6*6 paper pads, layered chipboard, decorative brads, clear stamps, and chipboard sticker accents. This line would be great to scrap Christmas dance recitals,  Fantasy of Trees, or just special "home" memories that you created over Christmas.  Holly Jolly Christmas also would work great with any snowy days that may be in our future.

The third is , Season's Greetings.  This is more a "Traditional" Christmas line.  This would be perfect for decorating the tree, making Santa's cookies, or that perfect family picture you captured.  We have the collection kits, brads, stamps, and layered chipboard with this line.

So come in and look at all these fun lines.  I may still be putting them on the shelves but you know things here go fast.

Enjoy the Sunshine Today,

Amanda

Good Day Sunshine

Scrappin In the City - Tuesday, January 17, 2012

Good Day Sunshine is the new line from We R Memory Keepers, not the weather here at the City.  (man it's cold).  This line screams spring and warmth to me.  We have 7 papers with great floral print, 2 stamp options, chipboard stickers, and fabulous coordinating ribbon to offer with this line.

We have added many new classes to our class/events tab...so make sure to check them out.  We also have a couple spots still available for Saturday's crop.  If  you call and prepay by tomorrow you will save 5 dollars.  We will gladly take your payment over the phone.

You may also want to check out our Scrappin Club that will meet next Tuesday at 6.  You will bring only your basic craft kit and leave with 6 completed pages and the knowledge of many new techniques.

A friendly reminder that deadline for design team submissions is the end of the month.  We just ask that you turn in 3 projects none of which need to be current papers or even papers from our store.  Your projects will be returned to and the new design team will be announced the first week of February.

Happy Scrappin

Amanda
